Voorjaarssymposium 6 April: Old Observations in Modern Times
The NVBM spring symposium 2018 is dedicated to the topic of homogenization of meteorological observations for climate research. Many observational records with a long history have also been subject to re-location, change of instrumentation, measurement heights etc etc. In this symposium we discuss the value of these old meteorological records and their feasibility for climate research. Two speakers will introduce the subject, followed by an interactive discussion with panel members and the audience.
